Implantation

Implant is an artificial tooth root. It means that a missing tooth can be replaced by an implant, with which we avoid making crowns and bridges (teeth grinding and losing bone mass). During surgery under local anesthesia an implant is built into a prepared bone. The time of implant acceptance is between 3 and 6 months and after that comes prosthodontics.
Implantation is especially purposeful for toothless patients because it provides them with strong bite
